“You are not only entertaining and fascinating to listen to and watch—you struck a chord in the hearts of so many with things we need to be reminded of. Your comments especially touched me, and refreshed me of my goals to embrace, love, and befriend all those I come into contact with, indifferent to any circumstances. You are an excellent role model of someone who embraces integrity and unconditional love—two things I hope to exemplify in my short but important time upon the earth. There are many hearts and ears waiting to hear and partake of your insight. With the deepest gratitude.”
— C. Rodgers, McDaniel College Peer Mentor
“Andrew has been with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology for the past ten years during our Orientation Program. His focus on diversity and inclusion and teambuilding has Mr. Steed ranked as one of the premier presenters by our students and faculty. His unique and creative approach to the subject, along with his quick wit, irrepressible spirit and wonderful sense of humor, engages and draws students out as he shares his rich personal and cross-cultural experiences. Andrew’s style is refreshing and the results are unparalleled.”
— Paul Cameron, Dean of Students,
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your presentation has inspired the teachers who were present, and they in turn have inspired their respective schools. Teachers are still talking about your program.”
— Leianne Whitley, Prevention Coordinator,

“Andrew’s workshop, ‘Getting High the Natural Way’ was incredibly interesting. Andy had many interesting teaching technique’s that captivated our attention. He made learning fun and warned us about drugs with believable examples.”
— Rijelle, 4-H Junior
High Student
“Mr. Steed’s presentation on bullying connected with our students. Many of the key phrases he used we continue to use in our school anti-bullying program throughout the year. He was able to talk about serious issues with our adolescents in a humorous manner. Many of our students still talked about his presentation at the end of the school year.”
— Scott Keddie, Assistant Principal, Manor Middle School
“Hi Andrew, I just wanted to say you have changed my life forever. Your inspiring stories really showed me a different view towards life. I just wanted to say thank you for coming to Lake Lehman.”
— 11th grade student
“My daughter Tasha was part of the core group at North Salem Elementary School in Dover, PA. I was at the performance on Thursday evening and I was just speechless. The whole group was AWESOME. What you did with these children was marvelous. You really drew out a lot of personalities from these children. My son is in Middle School and at first didn’t want to come. After the performances, he was glad he came, he enjoyed it very much. There was very positive feedback from the parents in the audience. I am glad my daughter had this opportunity. This will be something she will remember for the rest of her life.”
— Phyllis LoPresti, Office Manager, York Symphony Orchestra
“Your willingness to offer this to children, not only to entertain but to also educate, is a wonderful addition to our daily curriculum.”
— Mazie, Gable Elementary School
“He was outstanding and his stories fit right into what we are doing in our language arts program. I’m so glad my children got to hear him.”
— Mrs. Diveglia, 2nd grade, Camp Hill Elementary School
“Andrew did so well with everyone. Each adult that worked with him wished that they were the ‘host’ for this event—he really pulled out the best in not only the children, but the adults as well.
“He did really well with discipline, too. He had that sixth sense, that if a child acted out behind his back, he’d know exactly who it was, and very gently address the situation immediately. Quite uncanny. And he always knew which of our students may have been the most needy, and he would choose them for something special and all of the teachers wondered how he had such perception.
“Finally, with our education being more ‘white-man’ based, it was very eye-opening for the children to hear untold stories of the First People’s plight from this perspective. We all learned a lot, so we look forward to having Andrew join us in another few years.”
— Ann Gerlitski, Music Teacher, Bendersville Elementary
